SBA Loans

Horicon Bank partners with the Small Business Administration to offer programs that provide longer terms and higher loan-to-values than typical bank offerings to help new businesses get their start.

WHEDA Loans

Horicon Bank partners with the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority to offer innovative products and services that link customers with affordable lending opportunities.

WHEDA business loans can enable a business to expand or acquire an existing small business. An expansion may involve a new line of business that complements the existing business.

WHEDA loans can also finance the startup of a small business in a vacant storefront in the downtown area of a rural community.

USDA Loans

The purpose of the Business & Industry (B&I) Guaranteed Loan Program is to improve, develop, or finance business, industry, and employment and to improve the economic and environmental climate in rural communities.

A borrower may be a cooperative organization, corporation, partnership, or other legal entity organized and operated on a profit or nonprofit basis, an Indian tribe on a federal or state reservation or other federally recognized tribal group, a public body or an individual. A borrower must be engaged in or proposing to engage in a business that will:

  • Provide employment
  • Improve the economic or environmental climate
  • Promote the conservation, development and use of water for aquaculture
  • Reduce reliance on nonrenewable energy resources by encouraging the development and construction of solar energy systems and other renewable energy systems
