As a commercial and agricultural lender, John has experience in developing, managing, and expanding a loan portfolio of credit and related services. He has a passion for providing customer loyalty and works with small and intermediate-size family businesses to large family companies. John says he enjoys helping business owners’ dreams come to life. “Every day I am amazed by the ingenuity of individuals — the taking of an idea and turning it into reality. Sometimes those ideas will require financial capital to get it off the ground or help propel it to the next level. If I can help an individual or company meet their financial needs through the use of financial products and services, then I have accomplished my goal.” John earned an AAS in animal science from Alfred State College and a Bachelor of Science in animal science and agricultural economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has completed one year of Graduate School of Banking.

About Horicon Bank in Wauwatosa, WI

Welcome to your brand new, state-of-the-art, digital community bank in Wauwatosa, WI. Opened in October of 2023, you can find us located on Burleigh Street right next to the abundant shops and restaurants of the Mayfair Collection!

The Mayfair branch is not your typical bank! Outside, you will find rock-star parking and charging stations to accommodate two electric vehicles. Walk inside and you will not see the usual “Teller” line, but instead two Interactive Teller Machines (ITM). An ITM combines the functionality of a regular ATM (withdraw cash, view account balances, etc.) with the comfort of a human touch as needed. If you want to talk to a banking professional, select the option to talk to a live Horicon Bank employee and one will appear on-screen to help you! Video tellers can help you conduct more transactions than basic ATMs, and can answer different questions you might have about your finances or a particular transaction. You will also find an ITM outside in our drive-thru for easy convenience.

While new to the Wauwatosa community, the Mayfair branch supports the Wauwatosa West Allis Chamber of Commerce and the Milwaukee County Zoo, and looks forward to getting more involved with many more organizations in this community and Milwaukee.
