As manager, Kelly assists customers and her team by answering any questions they may have while providing the best customer service possible. Her typical day consists of opening and servicing accounts and advising her team. Kelly enjoys getting to know customers and connecting with them on a personal level. She particularly loves helping people become more financially aware and secure. Her goal every day is to give her customers the best products and service. Kelly attended University of Wisconsin – Washington County and University of Wisconsin -Stevens Point and earned a bachelor’s degree in English. Kelly graduated from the West Bend Leadership program in 2022 where she and her team created a program to help combat the social isolation of seniors in Washington County.

Senior Branch Manager
Whitney describes herself as someone who wears many hats in her role. She is a branch manager, universal banker and teller. She opens accounts, processes transactions, trains her staff and provides guidance and support to both her employees and customers. She finds it rewarding to build long-lasting relationships with her customers and staff. Whitney started her career as a teller/universal banker at our Beaver Dam Rechek’s location, and after working in the Fond du Lac and Mayville communities, she returned home to Beaver Dam first working at our Food Pride instore location and then promoted to Branch Manager of our Beaver Dam Main location. She has completed Management, HSA, IRA and Personal Banking School.

Meet Maria Genke
Branch Manager
Maria manages our Appleton branch, along with overseeing the Oshkosh and Fond du Lac branches. She opens and services deposit accounts and develops relationships with personal and business customers. Maria finds it rewarding to make a personal connection with customers to meet their financial needs. She enjoys working with branch managers and their associates to help them grow and develop their skills. You could say Maria was “born and raised” a Horicon Banker. It is the only place she has worked! She started in Horicon Bank’s Beaver Dam Main branch as a high school student in 1999 and then moved to the Fox Valley to attend college. From there she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UW-Oshkosh.

Most of all, Michelle enjoys the simple things, like watching her customers’ businesses and community grow and evolve, knowing that she was able to be a part of their success. She also loves working with the youth of the community, whether it be in a personal finance class, school Career Day, Girl Scouts or special local events. Michelle started working for Horicon Bank when she was in a youth apprenticeship program through her high school. She then completed her Supervisor Leadership Certificate from UW-Madison and attended Fundamentals of Lending School through the Wisconsin Bankers Association.
