Horicon Bank announces the promotions of Jennifer Stein to Senior Vice President, Kevin Frinzi to Chief Information Security Officer, Sheila Kast to Vice President and Kristine Schroeder to Assistant Vice President.
Jennifer Stein was promoted to Senior Vice President at Horicon Bank. Since joining in June 2022 as Vice President–Compliance Officer, Jen has expanded her role to include risk management, bringing over 21 years of banking experience.
Stein has led key initiatives to enhance compliance and risk operations, including system updates, policy revisions, and software implementation. A 2019 graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Graduate School of Banking, Jen also chairs the WBA Mortgage Committee.
Kevin Frinzi has been appointed as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Horicon Bank. Since joining the bank in December 2023 as Vice President–IT Manager, Kevin has advanced the bank’s technology strategy, drawing on prior CISO experience in the healthcare sector.
Outside of work, Frinzi is an active community volunteer, serving on nonprofit boards and engaging with his local school district, church, and organizations including the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation and Green Bay Packers Guest Services team.
Sheila Kast has been promoted to Vice President of Horicon Bank. Sheila began her career with the bank in 1994 as a teller and has since held a variety of roles, gaining deep expertise in deposit operations, systems, and compliance. She was named an Officer in 2011 and most recently served as Assistant Vice President and Bank Secrecy Act Officer.
Kast leads efforts in serving as the bank’s designated compliance officer for anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing. She actively pursues continuing education and participates in professional associations.
Kristine Schroeder has been promoted to Assistant Vice President at Horicon Bank. She joined the bank in June 2024 as an Officer and currently serves as Business & Consumer Loan Processing Manager. Her deep understanding of lending, underwriting, and operations has led to strategic improvements across loan processing functions.
