February may seem like an odd time to talk about roots. However hard it is to believe, the leaves and fruits of summer are beginning to form right now!

From this flowing sap we will be able to see buds swell and launch into the glory of spring flowers and leaves. Then, the wonder of a fresh berry or apple will appear from this very quiet and subtle beginning here in the heart of winter.
